What Shape Bikini to wear...

Bikini's for bigger busted girls...

If you have a larger bust than average, you may feel a little self conscious when it comes to buying swimwear.

If you want to ensure that your breasts are uplifted and supported well in the material, then why not consider one with wider straps and/or underwiring - the result will that your curves and lines look really good and sexy.

Of course if you want to minimise areas then go for dark prints and colours, and be sure not to have anything with too fiddly or tiny a print as this will make the fabric or material look larger than it is - and therefore the entire swim suit and its wearer will too!

Bikini's for the Boyish Figure

If you have a boyish figure - one that is pretty much straight up and down - then there are lots of swimsuits that you can buy that will suit you just fine.

Try combining some boy-cut bikinis with tint tops - this works really well on people with this sort of figure.

There are also lots of so called cut-out swimsuits this year, with a certain part slashed out... if this matches the part of your body that you are most proud of, then go for it!

Bikini's for Curvy girls

If you have a lovely curvy figure, then the swimsuit is probably better suited to your body type than any other - the classic hourglass figure if that's what you have looks really good in this type of clothing.

You could try combining a thin belt on your swimsuit, particularly if you have a slim waist.

If you want to make your shoulders appear a little broader, then consider using broad straps.

If you need to feel support across the stomach, then there are now many fabrics out there that can help to give you this support, for instance with ruched fabric and even invisible underpinnings.

Bikini's for Pear-Shaped Girls

The pear shaped figure is often considered to be the 'classical' feminine shape, with broad across the hips and flat across the chest.

The best swimsuits that work for those with this figure are so-called empire-line swinsuits. Make sure when you get this sort of outfit that the top half is decorative with some good patterns on it.

With regard the bottom half of your bikini or swimsuit, you should ensure that you have a plain, dark colour.

The reason for this is that this will draw attention away particularly for those with wider hips and bottom
