How To Apply "natural" Make Up

Easy way to make your make-up look natural

I find when I speak to friends and so on that many of them wish they were better at applying make-up and that it never looks natural
So i've come up with a way of making it look natural.

Step One
Remove any exsisting make-up and use a cleansing lotion and facial toner (I wouldn't really worry about the brand they all do the same thing but i do suggest you get them fragrance free, as this will help reduce oily skin).

Step Two
Your skin may still look oily, so use a "shine away" powder i reccomend the powder from Collection 2000 as i have found this effective.

Step Three
Lets move on to the eyes.
Starting with a base colour of eyeshadow, For the base always start with a very light colour.
Depending on your skin colouring, if you are darker go for a darker brown (not to dark) but if you are pale go for a colour just a shade above your skin colouring.

After applying the base move a shade or two darker than this, i suggest you stay in the brown and greys and quite natural colour. If you have light colouring i wouldn't wear dark colours as this will swamp your eyes, you want to make people notice them but not in a bad way.

Now apply your eyeliner. I suggest only on the top with liquid eyeliner then once it has dried, blend this in with your eyeshadow, to tone it down.

Then again with a darker eyeshadow put a small stoke in the outer corner but keep it minimal.

Then top it off with some mascara, dont make clumps, long flowing stokes from the root to the tip, the use the end in a horizontal stoke for the bottom lashes.

Now your eyes should look amazing.

Step Four
Now just Put some clear lip gloss on to complete the natural look, i wouldn't go for coloured lip gloss because this will, draw away from your amazing eyes!

Step Five
Feel Confident, if you feel confident no doubt you will look it.
