Making your concers hard.

STEP 1

First of all you need to collect 50-100 nice big concers, then clean them by shaking and wiping (but no water) and place them all on top of each other in a container stored in a warm place and leave to dry out for 6-9 months.

STEP 2

Next you need to place in a pyrex/ heat proof dish and pour a kettle full of boiling water over the concers and lightly stir, after 5 mins pour away the water and leave for 10 minutes

STEP 3

Then you need to pour over 300-500ml of distilled vinegar and place in a 180 degree oven for 1 hour

STEP 4

Finally, carefully take out the concers and leave for 2 hours to rest then one by one sort the cracked ones in to the bin and the hard ones ready to fight!!!!

ENJOY!!!

P.S. if u live in southport area behind hesketh park there is some houses with long drives check them out in early autumn for your conkers!
