1 can crescent dinner rolls
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar, divided
1 large egg
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
1 oz cherry juice
1 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tbsp cherry juice
1/4 cup cream
Open dinner rolls, separate each triangle and roll out until thin. Lay each triangle on a greased baking pan with the long point out.
Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, egg, cherries, cherry juice; spread mixture down the center of the braid.
Fold points back into middle and brush with butter.
Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
Combine powdered sugar, cherry juice and cream over low heat and make a glaze.
Drizzle over the braid and serve warm.
