They say that you shouldn't cry over spilt milk.

But sometimes cleaning the stains from milk can make you want to cry as they can be really difficult to get rid of!

So here is a simple little tip on how to go about cleaning the stains from burned milk which can be really tricky to get rid of.

All that you need to do is use something from the kitchen: salt!

It sounds odd but if the add salt to the pan that is burned whilst washing it up, it will be really easy to remove the stain!

I know a way to clean the milk that is spilt on the carpet. You simply mop it up with towel, then sprinkle with backing soda.It will absorb the milk and so prevent any stale milk odor. Once the powder has dried completely, vacuum up.

Another simple way to clean milk stains from carpets is by applying a solution of 1/4 teaspoon mild washing-up liquid (one that doesn't contain lanolin)OR 1/2 teaspoon of liquid detergent (a biological one containing enzymes) per 1 litre of cold water.
It it doesn't work, moisten the stained tufts with a solution of 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide, blot and repeat untill the stain's gone.
