Compound Interest - Please help!!

I am studying to be an accountant via distance learning just with text books and no tuition as I can't afford it! This so far is the only thing I have been stuck on....

(1.0204081) = 1.202

what buttons on the calculator do I press to perform the above sum?

I thought it was 'to the power of' but that does not seem to work!

Any advice very much appreciated!

the 9.125 should be at the top right hand corner of the (1.0204)
