Consider how we DEFINE things and WHY we define things.

Ultimatly we define the object through what we use them for, but on another level some objects can affect us and how we act and behave. It's confusing.

Definitions are intimately tied to the way that we perceive objects - that is, how we perceive reality and the world around us - through our senses.

If we had different senses then we would probably interpret the world and the objects in it very differently and may label things in a different way.
