My dog is still scared couse of the fireworks on the 5/11/09 we didnt have any but she could hear the neighbors any tips on how to calm her

Stay with her and comfort her when she hears loud noises. let him/her stay in the house for a night if she hears noises at night

Always keep the dog inside. Use a radio, turn it up really loud. This should be enough to distract the dog from the noises it hears outside. It may still hear them, but the constant tone of the music and talking on the radio (which wont be stressed), will keep the dog calm. Leave the light on inside, close the curtains, this will keep the flashing lights to a low too.

Yes if you have a pet that gets scared when there are loud noises then you should keep them indoors and close all the windows in order that it reduces the sound. | |
