Are there any dangers of believing in faith?
Or benefits?

Believing in faith doesn't make too much sense, do you mean in having faith?

Faith is used to describe a belief that is not based on rationality but rather trust or some sort of non-rational intuition.

There is no reason why faith should be a bad thing and many find it beneficial in their lives. The danger would come if you try to justify doing bad things like disliking people because they don't agree with your point of view due to faith.

However there is no intrinsic reason why a belief based on faith should be any more dangerous than a belief based on logical argument or the world around you.

Benefits can include the security of believing you are part of a global scheme or a masterplan of a deity and perhaps giving strength through prayer, having someone to talk to at tough times and even if this were to turn out to be incorrect there is evidence that it could have a positive placebo effect anyway.
