Feeding Tetra

I have just started a new tank (3 Weeks).I have been told to only feed the fish every other day and only a very small pinch,Is that one pinch per fish?

I would agree with only feeding little amounts with a new tank, it can take up to 6 months for a tanks biological filter to fully mature. You should only feed a small pinch of food for all the fish, if you look at the size of fish they only have small stomachs, feeding too much food with lead to it rotting on the bottom of the tank and increasing the level of ammonia which could lead to water quality problems and your fish to die.
