Hi could any one tell me what number my heater should be set at for tropical fish its on 24ish the temperature is just under the green line on thermometer fish seem happy its a new heater the old one was not keeping a constant temerature i have a new pump 800 instead of 600 the fish were originally in my late mothers care not use to keeping them yet i mostly have tera two gourami two huge cat fish a molly which has had babies glowlights neons danios.that sort of fish.am i doing ok

I think that what you should probably do is go back to the pet store where you got the fish from.

Then ask them what temperature they have their tank on to keep that particular type of fish.

You can probably find their phone number to save you going down the store and just phone up to ask them I'm sure that will be a quick and easy way to find out what temperature you should keep your tropical fish at

Those fish are all tropical and reasonably hardy to withstand slow changes in temperature,( Danio's are temperate and can withstand coldwater temperatures if accimatised to it slowly) 24 degrees Celsius, or 76 degrees Farenheit is perfect for them
