Geology-Flint

Hey there, I've been searching the web for a couple days and haven't come up with a conclusive answer, so I thought I'd try some message boards. I was wondering if it was possible to find flint in Canada. I don't mean the little stones they put in lighters, either. I mean a flint nodule. I've seen a map of the world with flint mines located on it, but there were none in Canada. So I was wondering if we have the right conditions for it to be created around here. Specifically in the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Bruswick).
