Greaseproof paper

How do you remove greaseproof paper fromthe biscuit base of a slice. I've just made caramel chocolate slice but the greaseproof paper will not come off...help

This happens if the greasiness of the greaseproof paper has failed or if the bottom of the biscuit has gone hard and there is no moisture left meaning that it sticks.

All you can do is try to pull it off the greaseproof paper then scrape off the residue of greaseproof paper carefully.
