My cat is always getting into fights , he cut his ear the other day , ovbiously i worried about the injury hoping it wouldnt get infected but as soon as the cats make the wounds they heal, within a week the scab has gone and the fur has grown back , however if this is the firt time you have enccountered this then its nothing to worry about but it is better to get the injury checked otu by a vert or nurse if the animal is young because it could get infected , hope this helps , good luck

If the cat isn't already neutered, get them done, it helps reduce how territorial they are however cats are territorial animals by nature and will generally make up their own boundary that they will protect. My Nan's cat used to fight with her neighbours even when he was neutered, they would let their cats out in turns to reduce fighting and hang out tea towels when their cat was out. One of my older cats has also been in fights, it is tricky because you cannot stop them doing what is natural to them. If they are constantly getting injured it may be worthwhile considering keeping them in or restricting when they are allowed to go out, most cats will generally fight during the evening time.
