Is New Zealand better than Australia

Hey

Next year I'm hoping to go on holiday to either New Zealand or Australia, having spent some time in America on holiday later this year.

But which is the best to go to - I have had friends go travelling to both and most seem to prefer New Zealand but say there is more things to do in Australia.

So any tips or advice on which is better and which I should visit would be really useful - thanks so much!

NZ Or Aus

There are different things in each place and each has good and bad points.

Why not see if you can get to both and that way you can judge for yourself which is better - it really will come down to personal preference really

lucky you!

I spent in a year in Australia, and a month in the South Island of NZ. The South island is beautiful if you enjoy walks etc, Queenstown is good for extreme sports, there are things to do in both places. But, I travelled with my boyfriend which was good for me, but we met people who were travelling alone and they said Oz is more socailable! Both places are brilliant and I'm so jealous, I would love to go back. Just a quick extra thing, work is hard to find in Australia, esp around brisbane!! Have fun

Interesting thoughts there...

Given so many students go to Australia and need to work a bit whilst they are there, are there any tips on how to get it whilst you are out there?

Like the sort of jobs you could look to do and maybe how to go about getting it and things like that...

...on what you are looking for really!

If you want a wider variety of climates and things to see then maybe Australia.

If you want somewhere that reminds you of England then maybe go to New Zealand.
