Leather sofa repair

I have a hole in my leather sofa and want to patch it. I have looked at 2 different products a leather repair kit (the one where you have to paint) from Ebay and a leather recovery patch from http://www.mastaplasta.com. I haven't found anything on the TMH site, but I have read articles about both from http://blog.proleno.com. Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with either and which is best. Thanx
