Starting your own business

Hi there

Does anyone have any advice on starting a new business.

I mean how should you go about checking that your business plan is realistic.

I had what I think is a good idea for a new business but the thing is I don't know how to check if the numbers I planned could happen.

The problem is that I basically guess what level of sales I will have, but let's say I'm off by a factor of 10 which is entirely possible - that would take the idea from making me a decent amount of money to not even breaking even.

So how do you know if your numbers add up in advance when you haven't actually started the business yet

Take a look at the about my business website at www.aboutmybusiness.co.uk for lots of information on starting a small business for UK business owners.
