Summer jobs in the media

Hey

Does anyone know how I can get a job over the summer working for a tv or radio station in the UK?

I really want to get some experience as I'd like to be a TV presenter when I finish uni.

Anyone know who I can write to?!

Media work experience

I think this is one of the most competitive areas that there is, so good luck getting into it!

What you will have to do is simply write to or phone up all the TV and radio stations that you can think of and say how eager you are to get into media etc.,

You will end up doing something unglamorous like making tea for everyone running around and earning very little money, but it might just be enough to get you an 'in' in the future.

Phone them up!

Phone up your local radio station and any other ones in the area that you can get to and say how enthusiastic you are and how it would be a dream come true to work there.

You might then get some unpaid work making cups of tea for the DJs and so on, but even just that is experience and something that many people would happily go for!
