Hi , im 13 and am thinking about becoming a secondry school teacher when i am older , i have had to think hard because of gcses ect does anyone know how much a secondry school teacher would earn a year ?

Yes the salary does vary depending on various things, such as number of years experience, size of school, whether you are teaching in a particular subject (I think that maths and science teachers get more for instance).

I read an advert for secondary school teachers in the newspaper a couple of days ago.

It said that the salary ranged from £22000 to £65000 so those with responsibility and lots of years of teaching experience can earn a very nice salary indeed!
