Testing an Idea for a Business

When it comes to a new business no-one is more enthusiastic than the person who has the idea for that business and wants to set it up...

...BUT they also tend to find it hard to be objective about the chances of that business and therefore are often the worst person to judge it!

If you have an idea for a new business then you will need to test it out and discuss the idea with people outside your circle of family and friends.

That's because they will often just tell you what you want to hear rather than the truth - therefore take the time to ask people who are business acquiantances to chat about your idea. They can give informed but more impartial advice which may help you find out if your idea is a real goer or not!

Good point!

It can be hard to do... to get criticism of your great idea... but often its the only way.

Much better to find out before its too late whether your ideas really are a go-er or not!
