I think i have a infection from my navel piercing

Hi, i got my belly button peirced about 5 months ago and the skin around the piercing is a redish/purple colour.
although it doesnt hurt at all it has been this colour ever since i got it done whats wrong?
please help me !!!

First, why would you pierce your belly button.
You got it because you were being irresponsible.
Only one part of the body should be pierced...your ears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Well that was several years ago so hopefully it has healed now.

Generally you should only get your belly pierced somewhere reputable as they are one of the more common ones to get infected and if you suspect that has happened then you should go see your doctor straight away in order to work out how to heal it as fast as possible.
