I want to model, HELP!

Im 13, im 5 foot 7 and i have blonde and brown hair which is just below shoulders with side fringe, i also have tanned and long legs. i dont have anything unusual about my face, also while on holiday i tried out a photoshoot and was asked if i was a model. ANYONE please tell me whether i can be a model or not, and how i can start modelling? i dont want to do anything my parents wouldnt allow, but i dont want them to be involved in everything i do. Can anyone help me?????? thanks,
