What kind of cleaning would you recommend? Do-it-yourself or professional cleaning service?

By my opinion, the pro cleaning have to be used when the problem is too big. I think that every is capable to clean a small spot on his carpet or upholstery.

Well,I think you are right, but what if I can't clean even a spot by mu self? I think it is better to use professionals.

It sounds me strange.Why you can't clean even a spot? It is not so big deal. You can use even kitchen products like vinegar and baking soda, not special chemicals...if that's the problem. If you spill a glass of orange juice over the carpet it will be stupid to call a professional. That's my opinion...
