What will happen if your hamster eats some plastic from a plastic bag?!!!

This is very urgent.
see, yesturday we bought a plastic bag full of hamster sunflower seeds and today i fed him some and i put the bag near the cage and the hamster ate part of it what do i do (except going to the vet)

I say it's okay as long as it is not suck in the throat.But i think you should see a vet just in case. my hamster ate a hole in my plastic trash bag he was okay.
