Wood stove question

We are doing a home addition and will have a wood stove. I would like to put the stove as close as possible to the wall in a corner. It will be a small stove. The addition is a standard wood construction. I'm wondering if I use concrete board in the corner instead of sheet rock would this be adequate? I had also thought of using a combination of the concrete board with a stone veneer or tile face. The floor is concrete and I will use either stone or tile to set the stove on. Any thoughts?? or suggestions??
