How do you fine the slope of y=-2x?

By simply getting some graph paper and drawing some axes, x and y.

Now plug some values into the equation for x, e.g. x = -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 and working out the corresponding y values.

Then plot these points on the graph and you will visually see what the slope of the graph is.
