I am an adult returning student after 34 years; need to learn the basics: what is the next sequence in the following example...3,7,10,17,27,44,

3,7,10,17,27,44

With this sequence you are adding on the previous term each time: e.g. to get 10 you add 7 + 3

To get 17 you again add the previous two numbers: 10 + 7. So next is 44 + 27 = 71
