How To Apply Lipstick
Beauty : Cosmetics Have a look in store and try out some different colours, shades and brands of lipstick on the back of your hand. Dont use them on your lips as other people probably have and this will transfer nasty bacteria to you, which may make you ill. Pale skinned lips suit lighter, glossy colours like baby pinks and reds. Tones in the middle are better off using muted colours such as bland pinks, and browns. Darker complexions should go for gold browns and nude pinks. Try them out anyway and see what suits you best. Ask for someone else's opinion aswell. Buy a lip liner that is 2 shades darker than your lipstick. It helps create a base layer for the lipstick so it blends better. It can also make your lips looked plumper. Yo will need to exfoliate so scrub them gently with a toothbrush, or make a paste using sugar and water. Wash it off them apply Vaseline. Wipe this off after a few minutes. Draw round the edge of your lips with lipliner, from the outside towards the centre. Next, apply the lipstick by making one or two swipes across the top and bottom to start with. Add more if needed. Dont overdo it though, and always check in the mirror. Grab a tissue and place gently between your lips and close, to get rid of any excess, and make sure it hasnt gone on your teeth. This can be embarrassing. Add some lipgloss if you wish.
