How To Apply Mascara
Beauty : Cosmetics To apply mascara properly, you must make sure that the mascara covers the lashes completely - that is, from the root to the tip. For your upper lashes, move the mascara applicator back and forth at the base of the lashes to put down some colour, and then roll the brush horizontally through your lashes. Use full strokes. The result will be a thicker lash, with the ends separated and the base well defined. Mmm!
More make-up tips adviceThis sounds like a great idea in theory but when i tried it i got mascara all over my eyelid above my lashes! Any tips to stop this happening? Sounds like a good idea ... I will try that later. So that it does'nt get onto your eyelid, get a small mirror when applying mascara, as you apply to top lashes look down into the mirror. And to do the bottom, lift the mirror above eye level and look up, nothing should rub onto your eye. Have earbuds near by, if accident does happen. I often find that the mascara wand comes out with too much on and then makes my eyes look clumpy. I then discovered if I wiped the wand with a makeup wipe it takes off the excess. I also find washing the wand with warm water helps too - although this only needs to be done once in a while.
