| Hobbies : Autographs The next tip is politeness. This one is an absolute must: they like to see your 'please' and 'thankyou', even if they don't use them themselves! Good manners go a long way in securing that autograph. And, of course, don't make any comment which could in any way seem like a criticism; in fact flatter them, at least a bit: whilst lots are normal and genuine, some have very big egos, and deflating these is not the way to get them to sign!
