I also think that it is important to have good oral hygiene to deal with bad breath.

This means doing the basic things such as brushing teeth twice a day from about 2 - 5 minutes each go.

Then after you have brushed teeth in the evening then floss for a few minutes to get bits of food out from between the teeth. This can rot and cause bad breath, which is also known as halitosis.

Then finally you should use a good mouthwash once a day. Swill it around your mouth for about 30 seconds then spit it out rather than swallow. This should then be a good oral hygiene program and overall should also help to stop bad breath.

As an emergency measure if you have bad breath carry some pocket mints with you to use when needed, and avoid garlic and onions!
