The next thing you need is to work on a good radio voice - this means don't speak too quickly and try to vary your intonation so that your voice sounds interesting and attractive on the radio. Next, prepare for all your shows. Lack of preparation means preparation to fail, to paraphrase. Next up, try to make notes for interviews that you will conduct in advance, it can be very hard to think up questions on the spot. Bullet point lists are an excellent way to do this.
