Nothing helps to give a brand an online presence and some kudos and gravitas than containing a quick history of your site.
List therefore almost like in a CV the most notable achievements of a site and/or its creators as soon as you can.
For instance you can include the number of years you have been in business, what your business has achieved in that time - notable clients - and so forth.
Many people find that getting one large client can really make their business for them, so do not be intimidated going for contracts with large companies. Whilst many have a preferred suppliers list, this is not always the case. And particularly if you work in an industry or area where there will not currently be a supplier in place, then you could strike gold and get lucky.
