Building Confidence: We Are All Equal

Self Development : Confidence

One of the founding principles of most societies is that all people are born equal.

Knowing this then, why is it that people with low confidence virtually always are low in confidence because they think that other people are better in some way.

It could be better looking, it could be better at developing friendships or better in a whole host of ways.

Therefore those with low confidence might think they are just not as worthy as others or just not designed to be confident.

This is rubbish.

You need to realise that you have just as much right as anyone else to be treated with respect, and treat others with respect. You have the same right as everyone else to act with confidence and be confident.

By opening your eyes to this fact, valuing yourself and not putting yourself down you will be well on the way to confidence.

Knowing that you love yourself and nothing in the world can change this can be a great confidence booster. It might sound silly but it is absolutely true. So stop giving yourself a hard time - you deserve to be confident in yourself - it really is as simple as that.
