Nutrition plays a very important - and often underestimated part - in your total weight.

Clearly, the more you eat and the more calories you take in, the more energy you have to burn or alternatively store as fat.

But the time of day you eat is also important.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for keeping your fat burning at a decent rate. That's because breakfast kickstarts your metabolism early on in the day. Missing breakfast and it won't start until later, which is not what you want.

It also helps to try to keep meals to the same time every day as your body works to a 24-hr internal clock. Your body will start preparing for digestion around the time it is about to receive a meal, and ultimately metabolise it faster and more efficiently.
