How To Calm Down Irritated Skin
Beauty : Skincare Wash the area using a gentle cleanser to make sure any chemicals are removed from the skin. Use one that is designed for sensitive skin to avoid further irritation. Place a cold flannel onto the area to reduce swelling and pain. It will help to soothe it. Apply a hydrocortisone cream to the area, because it helps to calm irritated skin and reduce itchiness as well. Opt for hypoallergenic and fragrance free laundry detergents. Luke warm baths are better than hot ones, to avoid irritations. You could also add in two cups of outmeal or one cup of evaporated milk as these foods have soothing properties. Aloe vera gel may also help, especially if been in the fridge for 30 mins beforehand. Vitamin E gel is also great at heeling skin. Use a humidifier to keep the air moist as dry air makes things worse. Use one when you sleep and apply moisturiser at night so skin doesnt get dry and more prone to breaking and other irritations. You could use a moisturising glove for your hand too.
