Change A Hot Lightbulb

Miscellaneous

It can be difficult to unscrew the the plastic parts of a hot lightbulb when it becomes necessary to change the shade. Yet you do want to change the light quickly. So what do you do?

If you run a pencil point over the threads before assembly, it will make future dismantling effortless. Graphite from the pencil point is a good heat-resisting lubricator.
