Colour Coordination Tips

Beauty : Clothes And Fashion

Many people lack colour confidence and often resort to wearing black if they are unsure. However, colour contrasts are key to a striking outfit. Subtle matching shades of colour will add depth and interest to the look. Its much easier to do than it looks.

All colours have an undertone, either blue or yellow. The secret is to match the undertones, so you can wear more than one colour that will look great together. Many people just throw on loads of colours which just end of clashing and looking bad.

Maybe pair up navy blue and greens, camel and red, taupe with pink, taupe with pastel blue, purple and vibrant pink, red and purple, and olive green with red. Purple and orange can also look very good together.

If you are unsure, then you can always team up one strong colour with a plain one, such as grey, navy, white or black. You can't go far wrong if you do this.

Never go overboard and match everything or it will look too try hard. Simple is better.
