Ever get the feeling that you are just drifting along through life, following an aimless path like a leaf drifting in the breeze during the Fall?
Life is apparently what happens whilst we are busy making other plans, which has some truth in it, but too many people do not take control of their lives.
Taking control starts with taking care of yourself - your diet, your exercise, your relationships with others.
Taking control continues with an honest assessment of where you are now. Write down the things that you like, dislike about your life. What would you like to change? Where would you like to be in 5 years?
Taking control can start to happen once you realise where you are now, where you want to be and THEN take the important step of planning small goals and targets that will help you to achieve your goals.
Having control is made much easier if there are people around you that you can discuss your ideas and dreams with and can support you along the way. Don't be afraid to share your goals with loved ones and good friends - they are there to support you and will help you re-gain control.
Above all, be determined, passionate and focus on the goals you set yourself, and you will only be pleasantly surprised.
