Convert MOV To AVI
| Computing : Computer Sound Music And Video A common desire is to convert from the MOV format that you might associate with Quicktime to the AVI format, whereby you can then edit with more packages (for instance Movie Maker which ships with Windows XP). There are no built in converter tools, but there are many you can freely use out there on the internet. The simplest to use is called MOV2AVI - simply search for MOV2AVI.exe on the web and find the best place to download it. It's under 50Kb and runs from the command line: simply place in the same directory as the MOV, and from the command line type mov2avi filename ... and that's it, the conversion works fine and is very quick indeed.
