How To Cope If You Get Stranded At The Airport

Make sure you stay calm, as getting angry will only make your blood pressure rise as heighten the risk of a stroke or heart attack.

If you have kids especially then pretend you are camping but indoors. It will make it into more of a fun adventure and allow you to spend quality family time together.

Grab some food and go and look around the shops. Maybe play some games or brush up on your foreign language skills.

You could book a nearby hotel room if you prefer to stay outside of the airport.

If you're on your own, then getting chatting to someone else in a similar position to you. Surely they'll be greatful for the company.

Do something useful like sorting through your phone's texts and making more storage space. It will seem like less of a waste of time. Make sure you dont use all your battery up though.

Make sure you get up and go for a walk every now and then. It will make you feel better, calm you down and give you something to pass the time.
