How To Create A Printable Website
Computing : Web Sites One of the biggest chores with websites is that they tend to print in a very unreliable manner. Many of us have been frustrating at printing pages and pages off a website, only to see them useless as the only thing that prints is adverts and the odd paragraph of text, or alternatively a sentence cuts out half way across the page leaving you to guess at the rest of the sentence! The best way to get around this on your own site is to create a link to print each version of the page, and for that link to use a different and dedicated stylesheet for printing. In that stylesheet use a font that prints nicely - say Times New Roman, and also remember to set points instead of pixels for your font sizes! Finally remove any background image or colour so that the document prints out nice and clearly.
