How To Deal With A Hosepipe Ban

Gardening : Growing Plants

In some countries, when there is a very dry summer, you will not be allowed to use a hose to water your plants.

So what to do?

Well, try using the bath water. When the bath water drains out, rather than letting it go down the drain, intercept with a small water butt. This way you can water your plants, keep clean and conserve water all at the same time.

Tip: ensure that any soap bubbles or very soapy water is skimmed off first as this can affect the plants.
