How To Deal With Problems At University

Education : University

Many of us are lucky enough to go through uni without any major problems, other than the initial nerves when first leaving home and the odd spout of illness after a late night kebab and work stresses.

However for some people everything gets too much. This may be through workload, feeling lonely and isolated, general pressures, illness, bullying or a combination thereof.

The best thing to do is to talk about it. If you have friends around you that you trust then talk it through with them.

If things don't get better and you have real problems then don't bottle it up - talk to a student counsellor or someone at your university health service - all universities have something like this where you can get confidential support and advice.
