How To Do Basic Algebra - IV

Dealing with negative numbers can be tricky - remember that, in maths at least, two negatives make a positive!

For instance, if you multiply out brackets, remember that two negatives makes a plus as it may be less obvious here:

-2 (-3n - 8)

gives: +6n + 16
