A nutritious diet is a balanced diet.

One of the best ways to get this naturally is to use the every-other-day philosophy, whereby each day you target a different group of foods.

If you have fish and vegetables one day, have something like chicken and rice the next day.

Varying what you have each day like this can be a great help to naturally have a balanced diet.

Similarly if you have a baked potato and veg one day, you could have pasta the next.

Bottom line is not to have the same food category every day, but rather to try and mix it up. Also have some non-meat days too if you're a committed carnivore - mixing up is great.

Variety is the spice of life, and none more so than when food is concerned!
