The key is to be organised in advance, price items in advance, work out how much or how little you are prepared to sell them for, and then advertise. Advertise in the local paper and at the local supermarket and put a fluorescent sign out a week in advance of the sale - and then it's just a case of waiting for people to come, having some haggling and enjoy selling your wares for money!
