| Christmas If you are shopping from home, then it might interest you that in the UK you have additional rights over shopping in person. The main right that you have is what is known as a cooling off period. This is a period in which you can change your mind - this is around 7 days in length. You will notice many online retailers will refer to this and remind you of your right, for instance Amazon. You also have the right to cancel your order if it is not delivered within a 30 day period - unless another time was explicitly agreed.
