How To Keep Your Flowerpots Wet

Gardening : Growing Plants

Sometimes flowerpots can dry out very quickly, and no matter how much water you add it can quickly disappear.

Indeed some houseplants have an amazing capacity to soak up water, whilst others only need watering on a very infrequent basis.

So if you have a flowerpot that you are struggling to keep wet and want it to hold the water for longer then what can you do?

Well, basically the trick is to get a damp sponge and put that in the bottom of the pot before you fil up with the soil.

This will mean that it will soak up and hold the water for longer, just what you were looking for!
