How To Make Vodka Jelly
Food And Drink : Desserts You will need a bottle of cheap vodka, tin of mixed fruit (drained) - avoid tins with kiwi fruit in as these prevent the jelly setting; jelly (cubes not powder) in flavour of your choice (lime works really well) Follow the instructions on the jelly packet replacing the cold water for alcohol. The key to creating a potent vodka jelly is to wait for some fo the heat to dissipate once you've added the hot water (and before you add the vodka) that way you won't 'lose' the vodka as condensation. Add tin of fruit and chill. For maximum effect, leave to 'ferment' for 24 hours at least. WARNING: Do not drive after eating this - even one mouthful can make you feel quite 'light-headed!'
